About
Cathy Treadaway is Professor of Creative Practice at Cardiff School of Art and Design, Cardiff Metropolitan University and visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bath and Visiting Scholar at University of Technology Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Cathy is an artist, educator and writer. She has worked as a designer for industry and exhibits her artworks internationally. She has had over thirty publications including books, academic papers, reports and exhibition catalogue essays. Her research examines creative practice and she works with artists, designers and industry to investigate the development and use of digital processes to support creativity. Her most recent research is investigating designing for people with late stage dementia.
